LOCHABER WORKSHOPS
1)
Gaelic song Each Lochaber member took a group and all went to work learning a tune or routine. WE met back 45 minutes later and PUT ON A SHOW!!!!!! How fun it was! The show was great and all performed with Lochaber to show off their new skills. The workshop ended with a Cape Breton square set and a routy version of Farewell to Nova Scotia. WHAT A BLAST! A

Lochaber's
workshops are jam packed with informative fun! In a recent
workshop Lochaber did for a visiting Alberta high school group the
response was INCREDIBLE! Lochaber, lead by Christy Hodder, started
the event with a few tunes and got everyone singing along, spoon
playing, highland dancing, hooting and step dancing right off the bat.
After an hour of an "interactive show" all took a snack break
that was much needed after so much hard work and fun! The group
returned to choose their choice of...
